Thanks Yoli! The colours were necessitated by only having two pencils. So I think it worked out ok!

I completely agree with you! If we all looked the same then it would be incredibly dull. I don’t actually WANT to look like my legs are going to snap when I’m walking. I DO want to look like Elizabeth Green though… with Joan Holloway’s hair and Yana Alana’s specs!

I think I bookmarked your sight last summer – maybe while the fires were raging? You may have had the photo of the koala bear that came up on the porch for water? I don’t remember. But I have a few minutes on my hands and checked your blog – and was blown away by Make Do and Mend!! I’m working on fabric postcards for a swap, theme ‘recycle.’ In researching for them, I just came across that WWII Britist slogan last week that I’m planning to incorporate!

bet you thought I was never gonna post huh? was very busy at work last week but the urge to procrastinate is never far away *grins*

the basket weaving instructions are coool, my permaculture group has been talking about basket weaving, might get a posse together an give it a go. I’ve been wanting to learn for aaaages. something about weaving really turns me on.

anywho really should do what they pay me for.
